FAQs
FOR THE KURE!
Kruz and Paizlee w/ Chris Lane @ 2021 Handy on the H2O!
WHY DO WE DO IT?
Handy on the H2O is committed to supporting the Kruzn for a Kure Foundation! KFK was started by the, Muscle Shoals local, Davenport family to fund research for Schimke Immuno Osseous Dysplasia (SIOD). Kruz (8) and Paizlee (6), the two Davenport children, were diagnosed with SIOD as toddlers, and their parents have not stopped working towards a ‘Kure’ since. Our efforts, events, and fundraisers provide a community engaging space to facilitate donations, awareness, and support for KFK!
WHERE IS THE EVENT HELD?
At a private residence in Muscle Shoals, Alabama located on Wilson Lake. The event is only one slough up from the Fleet Harbor Public boat ramp next to Wilson Dam. This is primarily a BOAT ACCESS EVENT! We encourage guests to begin safely, at the boat owners own risk, congregating boats the day of our events. Limited Land Access Tickets are sold in our STORE.
